The Capital Region Workforce Partnership (CRWP) is proud to announce the return of the InspireYouth@Work Summer Opportunities Fair on Saturday March 26, at the Goochland Campus of J Sargeant Reynolds Community College from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
This unique job fair is a free opportunity for government, business and not-for-profit organizations to publicize their summer opportunity, job, volunteer, internships and leadership development openings suitable for youth ages 14-21.
We encourage all businesses and organization to participate. If you don't already have young workers, create positions for them! We will have hundreds of youth and their families who want to work and grow with you. Join the movement...InspireYouth@Work.
RESOURCES FOR OUR EMPLOYER PARTNERS
To assist companies that join the movement to InspireYouth@Work, the Corporation for National and Community Service published in 2012, a Youth Employment Partnership toolkit. The toolkit is a resource that provides information on how to make this experience mutually beneficial for youth and young adults.
InspireYouth@Work Summer Opportunities Fair
We all do. As an employer, you fill an open position with a young person looking to work. This is your chance to invest in the future workforce, while fulfilling a seasonal need.
In 2015, the InspireYouth@Work Summer Opportunities Fair had well over 500 young people and their families attend. In addition, 25 of the area's top employers attended. Now we want you.
Youth between the ages of 14-21 are running out of options. On the younger side, summer camps and daycares view them as too old. They need experience, some guidance and your wisdom.
